예수님이 부활하셨습니다!

사랑하는 열린교회 성도 여러분,

고난주간을 함께 보내며 이 편지를 씁니다.

이번 한 주, 우리는 매일 아침 함께 모여 찬양하고 말씀을 나누었습니다. 준비된 간식을 나누는 소박한 시간 속에서도, 우리의 마음은 한 방향을 향해 있었습니다. 죽음의 권세를 깨뜨리고 부활하신 예수님을 향하여.

세상은 십자가를 실패와 좌절로 기억합니다. 그러나 우리는 다르게 기억합니다. 십자가 위에서 예수님이 남기신 마지막 말씀, "다 이루었다"—이것은 단념의 말이 아닙니다. "너희를 위해 모든 값을 치렀다"는 선언입니다. 그 십자가는 이제 죽음의 상징이 아니라, 우리를 향한 하나님의 가장 깊은 사랑의 증거로 서 있습니다.

매년 봄이 되면 부활절이 찾아옵니다. 그러나 이 절기가 봄을 알리는 계절의 신호로만 지나치지 않기를 바랍니다. 부활은 우리 각자의 삶 안으로 들어오는 사건입니다. 고난 너머에 열리는 새 생명의 희망, 끝난 것처럼 보이는 자리에서 다시 시작되는 하나님의 계획—그것을 오늘 우리가 함께 기억하고 고백합니다.

2026년 부활절, 열린교회의 모든 성도들이 하나님의 크신 사랑 안에서 이 날을 마주하기를 기도합니다.

주님은 언제나 우리와 동행하십니다.

그분이 살아나셨습니다. 참으로 살아나셨습니다.

Christ is Risen!

Dear beloved members of Yeolin Church,

I write this letter as we journey together through Holy Week.

This past week, we gathered each morning to sing, to pray, and to reflect on God’s Word. Even in the simple moments of sharing prepared snacks, our hearts were united in one direction—toward Jesus Christ, who has broken the power of death and risen again.

The world remembers the cross as a symbol of failure and defeat. But we remember it differently. The final words Jesus spoke on the cross, “It is finished,” were not words of surrender. They were a declaration: “The price has been fully paid for you.” The cross is no longer a symbol of death, but a testimony to the deepest love of God for us.

Each year, Easter comes with the arrival of spring. But I pray that this season will not pass merely as a signal of changing weather. The resurrection is not just a historical event—it is something that enters into each of our lives. It is the hope of new life that opens beyond suffering, the beginning of God’s work where everything seemed to have ended. This is what we remember and proclaim together today.

On this Easter of 2026, I pray that all members of Yeolin Church will encounter this day within the boundless love of God. The Lord is always with us.

He is risen. He is risen indeed.
